I know many people have space marine armies and with the new dex on the horizon everyone has pet issues or things they would like to see. Some want over the top, others want fluff oriented rules. For me its a small one wish but one I have long held too.

The vindicator kit has the awesome giant siege shield that most people either do not build because the rules are bad or they put it on for the look but don't actually buy it. I would like for GW to make the rules for the vindicator fit the model a little better.
1. The Vindicator kit has beefed up sides as well as the front, increase the side armor to 12 from 11.
2. Make the siege shield something like it is now but offer an extra point of armor to the front arc since it is a giant piece of steel, blocking incoming shots.

So if I could get my way when you purchased a vindicator with the siege shield upgrade you would get a 14-12-10 tank.

Anyhow, I know this won't happen but you can always wish, anyone else have model/fluff based wish lists they want to get out of their system?

Less Ultramarines, more chapter diversity. Of Codex Chapters, still, but not just Ultramarines.

By bolter and honour, by blood and fire, we shall cleanse this galaxy. By Vulkan, and by the Emperor, CHARGE!

Yo Dawgs, I heard you like grimdark, so I put grimdark in yo grimdark in yo grimdark in yo universe that is obviously grimdark.

It would be nice if ravenguard could take a squad or 2 of scoring assault marines. I've been looking to start them for a while, but I want to avoid taking to many scouts (fluffy troop choice). Having shrike buffed a bit would be nice too

More options for Tac sergeants, heavy flamers for Tac and Dev squads and terminator command squads. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I play dark angels, but I can't wait to get my hands on the new marines dex. Looking forward to being able to either ally in AA or even just play them with centurions.

Similarly, less alienation of non-Ultramarine players. For standard marines to just be...better, or special somehow.

Long-Range Land Speeder Pilot

A small, damp hole somewhere in England

As a (specialist) marine player I'm hoping for:

- Land speeder storms to be a dedicated transport for scout squads
- Land speeder and whirlwind prices to be brought in line with DA
- Slightly more useful scout bikes (skilled rider?)
- Vanguard Vets to be worth taking for the points
- The rumoured White Scars supplement to appear soon (if you can't do a bike army with the standard SM codex)

And as a Chaos player I'm hoping that:

- Centurions aren't simply straight out better than Obliterators
- TH/SS termies cost more to reflect their massive durability
- Land raiders fit 10 men again
- Drop pods cost more or are a little less effective (Chaos players would sell their souls for a zero-risk transport that gets you exactly where you want to be, especially when you can have a squad like Sternguard inside)
