Looking for some thoughts/constructive criticism here. I know some of this army's wargear isn't 'optimal' but it is what it is

HQ

Lib - 175 lvl 2; jump

Troops

Assault Squad - 255 - 10 man 2 melta Sgt P Fist & Storm Shield

First thing i would consider adding would be more troops that can hold objectives. Right now you only have 2 that could really hold an objective and one that if it got charged by a decent unit would die quickly.

Heres some advice:

I'll start with HQs:

The Honor Guard can only take 4 PG, as the Sang. Novitiate can't take one.

Troops:

Moar troops!!! only 3 Scoring units at 2500 is going to make your life very difficult.

It seems like your list is... confused. 1 DP, a few units in the back, a few units going forward... It lacks... cohesion.

For troops, I would try 3 of these:

ASM (10 man, X2 Melta) - 210

w/ one of these:

Tactical Marines (10 man, PG, LC) - 190

This just gives more boots on the board.

Elites:

Good, not too many Priests. May need a third, though.

Fast Attack:

More Attack bikes. 1 is gonna die fast. If you can, take 3 with a Sang Priest on a bike.

Vanguard are..... iffy? Too expensive for what they do. Change em out for a Stormraven. At 2500, you could see 3+ Heldrakes. The Bastion isn't going to cut it.

Heavy Support:

Devs are ok... ML are not. If you can get LC or PC that would be better

You have five PG. Novice can't take one. Nor can the banner bearer. I think.

Thx!! ill fix the plasma gun novitiate issue [sooo relieved i dont have to model that now ] Ill make a few adjustments to get more power armor troops on the board. But the stormraven, im just not sold on it [at least only a solitary one]. Iv done more then just 'play test' it, have had one built and painted since a week after their release, its too much of a 'all the eggs in one basket' scenario for my playing. The idea im going for is to: have the DC and Reclusiarch drop in, take attention, turn 2 [fingers-crossed] have both HG and VG deep strike in using the beacon if possible. The honor guard soften up the target with plasma while supporting the DC and VG on their charges with the novitiate giving FnP&FC and the banner giving +1A as well.

If you look at the firepower that an opposing 2500 pt list can shell out, I feel that this list really lacks bodies.
