Hi I am looking for the most fun warhammer 40k army out there...

I'm sorry if your chapter is not listed even if it has it's own codex, please tick the relevant Space Marine category and post the name down below - Thanks

Also, it would be great to get some reasons why you chose that specific army to be the most fun

Thanks very much, looking for to the results

Love playing my Sisters. It is a challenge, it is very fun to teach people about an army that they rarely see and I'd be lying if I did not get a childlike glee when I crush someone who bashes on them first.

For me it's podding marines.

Trapping vehicles with pods, doing major flanking movements against poorly placed opponents... I love them.

I got hooked on Space Marines. I dont know why, it might be the fluff. I sorta like the whole from human comes...superhuman. Meh, thats just me. Space marines to offer such a wide diversity of possible tactics too. Not all of them are competative mind you, but if thats all everyone wanted there would be a whole lot less of some races and a whole lot more of what ever army is deemed "best" at any one given time.

Its a game, have fun. If you arent for some reason...find a new one.

I play a Grey Knights gimmick list that frequently leaves people flabbergasted. I really enjoy it.

While I really enjoy playing DA, I have to say IG is probably the army I have the most fun playing. Most likely due to the amount of pie plates I get to lay down, giving order with my officers and just Outflanking Leman Russ Demolishers with Creed is just too silly.

Care to share?

I play a Farsight Enclaves army, its pretty fun, whilst still being focused enough to punish unfocused lists the same way Tau Empire does.

Orkses! The ork trukks own damage table can cause some hilarious situations! Like last week. Sm rocket launcher causes my trukk to go forward maximum speed between a tactical squad and a terminator squad. It explodes and takes a termie and 2 marines with it XD.

Space Marines... well that and DA I enjoy playing all bike list they are a blast. With SM I run an white scars style bike list and with DA I run raven wing. Chaplins librarians captains and command squads all on bikes its fun to watch peoples reaction when you put nothing but a bunch of bikes and a couple landspeeders on the board. Yeah I really dont win often but ive never been someone who plays to win. I play to have fun and I build my list to my play style. I like to chase people around the board. I haven't finished my BA list yet but thats a full assult marine list and I cant wait to put it on the board.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

I love playing against Orks, so much crazyness can happen that I never really know what to expect. And beside, facing a well painted green tide can be really awesome. And as for fielding I have to say my Tyranids, because I do like my MC and other ghastly space bugs

I have to say IG. Of all my armies, they have the most developed fluff, and I do enjoy translating this to the tabletop, both in terms of lists and general tactics, and by using certain models 'in character' as it were.

A close second would be playing my various Space Marine chapters using C:SM, allowing me to use pretty much everything in power armour I own. It may not be the most competative codex, but it was my first, and can still put up a good fight. That and I think a crusade force with 3-4 different chapters looks awesome on the field.

I like my Khorne CSM. In 6th ed, assault is a challenge, and when it works, there is nothing more satisfying. With AP4 Chainaxes, any xenos are routed pretty damn easily. It is especially fun vs. Necrons because they have low initiative, so it is easy to destroy/sweep the unit.

I also love my Daemons!

They're even more fun when I see those few really arrogant players who think Daemons have no place in 40k "because they're a fantasy army in a game of guns" and therefore believe they automatically suck and be easy to steamroll into the ground...
...Then I get to show them what a 'Fantasy style Magic Phase' looks like with my half dozen or more psykers who tend to stick mainly to Blessings & Maledictions!

Even those dreaded 2+/3++ Hammernators suddenly aren't so tough when they're S3/T3 and have to re-roll all their successful saving throws!

Not sure how to answer this. I have a DA army that's easier to play but it occurs to me that my small Chaos force has the anarchist aspect going for it and who hasn't wanted to fight the system?

I really enjoy Tau, cool models and it fits my play style well.

However Dark Eldar is a rewarding army to play. Playing with them is more fun because of its difficulty.

After further contemplation on this question I find myself thinking more about my WIP Chaos army than I do my Dark Angels.
The first reason why that comes to mind is that it feels so good to be bad. Another is being a story fan I like my games to make sense in the context. Most of the armies I play are Imperial and using DA leaves me wondering "why are they fighting?" With Grey Knights it kind of makes sense because they will fight just on the idea that something is wrong. One example is the DA's secretive nature lead them to do something regarding the Fallen and a 3rd party took notice.

With Chaos it always makes sense on some level. Imperial army? Sure, since I am dedicated to your destruction. Another Chaos army? Hey the Great Game is what it is. Some other army? I'm just being me and wanting the all the galaxy to burn, not just a part of it. In the case of Eldar it's thanks for giving us Slaanesh. Now it's time to receive the gift of your ancestors.
