So I'm new to GK and I just want to know what to get before I get stuff random

HQ
-Coteaz: Warlord

Troops
-5 Crusaders

-10 GK SS w/2 Psycannons x2

Transport
-Razorback w/Assult Cannon

Heavy Support
-Dreadknight w/Greatsword, Heavy Incinerator, Teleporter

Total 1000

Coteaz goes with crusaders in the razorback
Dreadknight does pretty much anything I choose
SS's deep strike and cause havoc amongst infantry
What do you think?
Any changes?
Is it balanced enough?

You have very little firepower in this list. The Dreadknight is your only real threatening unit.

You can ditch the greatsword at this points level, as you need more killing elsewhere.

Crusaders and coteaz are a subpar assault unit out of a razorback. You want more bodies and an assault vehicle to pull that kind of trick. May want to consider some acolytes or shooty/cheaper units. ALso, coteaz works fine with the GKSS and all.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
