Just wanted to introduce myself to the board.

I started miniature wargaming way back in 1990. Started with Battlesystems and collected mainly Fantasy Warriors from Grenadier. Then I got playing Warhammer (3rd edition) with an old friend of mine and worked on an Empire, Orc, Chaos and Undead armies. Graduate school and my engineering job following school pretty much ended my wargaming for a while.

Back in 2004 or so I got back into it but only for a very short time. I re-entered wargaming in the past year and have been wondering if I just want to paint and collect miniatures and build up armies or also play. Can't seem to find many players in Tucson but I haven't looked too hard.

Now I am trying to collect all these cool miniatures in the past 15 or so years that I was away. I am old school and still like the white metal miniatures (love the heft to them). I see that resin has replaced metal now-a-days. Maybe I will give it a try.
