Been Around the Block

Welp, I've been sucked back in it appears.
I played a good bit when I was younger and was pretty active on the GW forums and Portent (RIP?) bit fell out of the scene right before 4th edition, happened to stumble across a seemingly great store in my neighborhood and now GW may as well have access to my PIN number again.
Used to have around 4,500 points of Blood Angels and 1,500 points of Tau, but Hurricane Sandy kind of took care of that so I'm getting a fresh start with an army I've always wanted and fell in love with from the 3.5 codex in Black Legion.
I've spent the last month or so catching up on the game and new edition while painting up the new army, and while nothing has changed in terms of people complaining on the interwebs about how awful 40k and GW are, it does seem like the game is vastly better than 2nd and 3rd edition.
So with that said, happy to be back and see you all around the forums!
