Not trying to be rude, but do you work for them as this is your fifth thread about how great this company/ their product is?

no, but when i 1st met them at a toy fair in Bolton they told me about dakka, and since then ive posted stuff up here that ive received from them - i like them as people and i like their stuff - so its only fair i big them up appropriately by letting others know about their latest - even tho i don't often logon to chat or post on here on a regular basis.

they say on their website that for them its all about gamers helping gamers to do great games - and i agree with that - don't you? i feel that philosophy works both ways.

i don't see many other people doing that sort of thing with small teams & couples like wargamesbakery, darkartminis etc, but i do see a lot of disrespect thrown around on forums, we should really be positive if we like stuff and helpful if we don't, and esp if they are our local (ish) pals - thats what its all about afterall..... spending effort to be snidey to strangers isnt the best way to live (im not saying you are by the way! just i see it a lot on dakka (which is why i don't join in chats often), and it should not be there really)

if we all end up acting like that to eachother where does that leave our hobby?

does that make sense?

Totally makes sense, hope I wasn't offensive, but we get enough of the other people who try to be sneaky about their connections. I do promote smaller companies that are trying to make it as well. Paulson games, dreamforge games, rivet zone bases, and others have all shown up in my p&m blog with more than just pics from the web pages. I also post on their blogs and ask questions. I have backed their products in KS, and even have friends who work/own the business. I just wanted to make sure clarity was there with this post, especially after checking their site and found it slightly amusing that they mention dakkadakka, and how they are not affiliated here, but enjoy the site.

I like their stuff from afar, but I just wish this "latinization" phase would end.
