While my main focus is guard/marines, ive always wanted a cheap ork army to throw about. This is a 1000pt list ive put together from cheap buys on ebay (assault on black reach sets have been VERY handy).

Warboss w klaw, eavy armour and cybork

8 nobz w eavy armour and trukk

3 20 strong slugga mobz, each with 2 big shooters and a nob

1 12 strong shoota mob

3 deffkoptas w rokkitz and bommz

1 warbuggy

1 flakkadakka trukk

Yeah and thats what ive got so far. Thinking to take it past 1000pt with a burna bomma and some kanz. Thoughts?

the boyz are better off as shootas and in squads of 30/21/21 imo
the nobs in the trukk will get shot down from asap unless you manage to hide them and use them like the cleanupcrew, since a lone trukk sticks out in the eyes of the enemy (when shot down they will have to footslog and this will be an issue for you =/)
dont forget to get a painboy, powerclaw or two, and a couple of kobiskorchas, the rest with big choppas in the nobs squad. its a big point dump but the nobs are a deathstar squad in all forms
I just wish they had a better way of transportation (bikes or battlewagon)
the deffkoptas dont really need the bommz since they are a skirmish tankhunting unit. You should run them in small squads of 1-2 (if they get shot at they break so easy)
but they are awesome
the warbuggies as far as i know are not too good, but can be fun i guess
I dont even know what a Flakkadakka truk is i'm guessing its a FW model

Thanks, helpful advice. I havent played them yet so yeah, no idea how to use them really. If i can pick up some shootas from ebay i might remodel the sluggas, and yeah a battlewagon would be good, though do you have to buy the deffrolla seperate?
