I'm trying to touch up this list, any tips?
Firestorm Redoubt (Will count as having 2 fire points)
Rune Priest - Terminator Armor, Divination Powers
Rune Priest - Terminator Armor, Meltabombs, Divination Powers
Rune Priest - Bolt Pistol, Jaws, Living Lightning
Rune Priest - Boltgun, Jaws, Fury of the World Spirits

Wolf Guard
PA
2x PA, Combi Melta
PA, Combi Flamer
Termy, CML
Drop Pod

10x Grey Hunters, 2x Melta, Drop Pod
5x Grey Hunters, Melta, Drop Pod
5x Grey Hunters, Melta, Drop Pod
5x Grey Hunters, Flamer, Drop Pod

Long Fangs, 5 Missile Launchers, Drop Pod
Long Fangs, 4 Plasma Cannons, Drop Pod

The CML goes with the Missile Launchers, Plasma Cannons go inside the redoubt, JAWS priests go in pods, Termy priests go with Long Fangs. The extra pods exist soley to give all the Grey Hunters a turn 1 arrival.
It's got 20 points left, by the way.

It looks very efficient, but on paper I would be scared of fielding an army with so little staying power. You obviously know what you are doing though, so I would love to know how you get on!

Its better to burn out than to fade away

Yeah, everything sounds great except the five man + RP units seem weak due to numbers. I think you'd be better served by dropping two RPs and using the points to bolster the MSUs a bit.

Dillema... if I boost one more squad of guys to 10 man, I have to drop the Wolf Guard to 4 man and I can't take a CML... What about dropping a vanilla priest and boosting two squads to 8 man and two to 7 man. I lose one JAWS, but I gain more troops.

Aren't you wasting points with the PCs in the Redoubt? With only two fire poitns you could stick something in there that would be better served to your purposes, or vary the weapon loadout a bit to give you options at least. Make two PCs LCs, that way you can choose to fire 48" AT if you need it, etc.

Two models can fire out per fire point, so I'm not sure how I'm 'wasting' points here?

You paid for 4 PCs, and can only fire 2.

Did you read what I said? Or the rulebook? Two models can fire out. Per. Fire. Point. Therefore, four models can fire out m

Dude, tone down the condescending attitude. Easy on the nerd rage, the goal of forums is for people to communicate in a mature fashion. I forgot that two people can fire out of each Fire Point on a building and confused it with standard Fire points.

It's not Nerd Rage, I told you how it worked and you completely disregarded what I said. Since you weren't listening, I has to make myself more clear. Communicating things in a mature fashion didn't work with you, so I had to simplify a bit to get my point across.

No, I missed the two can fire per fire point. That is a simple mistake. Now you are being a condescending ass and won't let a simple mistake that I have admitted to pass. That is not the definition of mature.

You didn't read what I said, and are now calling me an ass for clarifying. Nice.

No, I'm thanking you for clarifying my mistake. I'm calling you an ass for being condescending and rude. Big difference. Either way, illuminating someone as challenged as you on the social niceties and nuances of adult communication isn't worth my time.

See what I did there, it wasn't very nice, it was condescending and rude and should serve as an example of how not to speak to someone.

I think it's a solid list. I just prefer to see more actual wolves. I <3 longfangs though.

Classic list. Space Wolf RP cheese to no end.

I dont know if this is a competitive list, but i dont have much experince with drop pod and SW in 6th ed so I can't really help to improve.

So your relying on JAW to deal the damage, and divination to help out the long fang.

I feel you dont have enough troops you have too many points in the HQ.

However, your 4 man wolf guard squad is just asking to get killed. I dont feel you got enough fire power after your long fangs are gone.

To be honest you dont have many options SW right now its just not that competitive.

The Wolf Guard are all being pawned off to other squads. CML to the Long Fangs with missile launchers, everyone else attached to the other squads. (Combi weapons guys attach to the specialist weapon that matches.)

I have to agree. If you want a 'competitive' list, then spending 400 points for 4 models really isn't the way to go. It's just my opinion, but I think you should drop 2 rune priests and spend the points on more grey hunters. Also I think 4 Plasma Cannons is overkill. Consider dropping two and trading them in for 3 heavy bolters for horde control / overwatch. You could also probably get away with dropping the wolf guard. For their points - they don't really do much for you.

Grugknuckle, I think I'll go with something akin to that. Maybe not exact, but similar. Thanks for the tips, everyone!

Actually, it turns out the list deadlines is irrelevant anyways. The tournament organizer canceled the entry fee and all prizes, so trying to guarantee a good shot at victory doesn't really matter too much anymore. I might take 5 TWC and a Wolf Lord for the hell of it.
