Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

I'm thinking of getting into the game and I was wondering if anybody had any experience with the game.

I really enjoy the fluff of the game and the gameplay seems to be very balanced between each of the races.

I'm just wondering what other people think of the game so I can get a good idea if it would be worth investing in.

Its a cool game with a cool setting, but it's gonna need more releases for sure - so far each faction only has 3-4 units.

Models are nice, though, and fairly cheap.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Ya the game is still fairly young but that is not much of a problem I was just looking for a side game to play in between games of 40k besides ascension and MTG and this game apears to faster paced even when taking your time and much more balanced on all levels

I think it... HAS POTENTIAL.

haw haw haw.

Seriously though, it needs far more releases for me to consider it worth it.

Outflanking

Looks like it could be a good squad-based game, but I really want to see more stuff before I'd jump in (to echo everyone else in the thread).

For a small skirmish game I'd recommend Infinity over DP. I love MWG, but DP just isn't complete enough.

I don't see this balance at all levels that you guys are talking about. A lot of the games ended up basically being a) do you play Xlanthos (probably misspelt that sorry)? b) did you bring 2 assassins? c) apply said assassins d) win. The games between the other factions had a bit more balance, but the game didn't seem to have the balance that you guys are talking about. Perhaps that was on the final edition of rules released, I admit that I haven't read the final version, but I would be quite surprised.

I'm going to echo the above poster and recommend infinity over dark potential, even if just for the fact it is constantly supported and growing rapidly.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...
