Title says it all. What do you think are some of the best kits solely for getting your hands on versatile and interesting bits for use in kitbashing?

I'm coming at it from a WH40K perpsective but of course I'm interested in examples from any system. SOme of my favourites:

SM Command Squad (good for unique pads, armour and of course the elusive pointing arm)
SM Scouts (good compatibility with IG in particular)
Cadian Command Squad
Catachan Command Squad (better scale and compatibility with other IG plastics than normal Jungle Fighters)
Ork Nobz

All of these kits have some unique and characterful bits that you can use on all kinds of units. What would you pick?

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

I like death company and sanguinary guard boxes. Great for any BA unit obviously but I've also found lots of uses for them in other marine chapters by removing some of the BA icons off them (which is quite easy). Like infernus pistols are great for making combi meltas, hand flamers for making combi flamers, lots of power axes through the kits for making alternate power weapons for other chapters, some of the wrist mounted guns make for interesing bolter conversions for sergeants as well.

got to be the good ol' trukk. it's in so many bitz, and all of them individual - no Armour plate with engine bits molded on, you get an engine, axles, drive shafts, wheels, heck i'm surprised the tyres aren't seperate!
I've turned them into valkyrie sky talons, battlewagons, swinging arms for stompa wrekkin-balls, and i've seen far more!

I keep meaning to get around to the "scouts as grenadiers" thing myself.

As for the Trukk, I'd say it's definitely worth having one around if you want to do any Ork conversions.

I'll second Flagellants, and I keep meaning to pick up the Free Company box for some IG conversions.

New Pathfinders have got loads of suitably fancy gadgets for Tau and some good unusual bits like arms that are reloading or tinkering with weapons - easy to use with Fire Warriors.

Cadian Command Squad, I usually end up using one for various accessories whenever I need guard related bits.
