Yea sorry its another abby chosen list. Kinda wanted to make a CSM gun line. I just dont know if its a good idea. Its so few bodies for this point level. What are your thoughts?

Pretty bad. Just not enough boots on the ground at 1850. Tau and eldar laugh in the general direction of this list.

IMHO you should use just 1 or 2 squad of chosen and maybe even full squad.

then use blobs of cultists to fill your ranks.

However, i found that if i add 3 more bodies they become comparable to a squad of 10 csm.

10 csm have only 10 attacks, then 20 if they have ccw. add 1 more attack from their champ. 8 chosen get 24 attacks from their base atk 2 and additional 1 from ccw. When 10 csm lose 3 men from shooting, they have to make a ld check not exceeding 8. When 8 chosen lose 2 men they take a ld check not exceeding 9.

I played with abaddon and chosen troops when the dex hit, but they are just too expensive. Maybe you can make it work, but I found generic CSM and cultists to be the best bang for the buck.

Good luck with the list. Looks like it might be a nice answer to Eldar and Tau S6-7 spam by using MSU Longrange Spam...

7 squads of 5 power armor marines are far to easy to kill - if this is a fun list, good for you. Enjoy. If it is competitive, it will suffer against most strong builds.

Yea its just not enough. Every time i switch a unit out or remove plasma guns it still doesnt seem powerfull enough. Ill have 10 naked csms compensating for 5-8 chosen So im gonna stop with the chosen. Ive done some math hammer and plague marines are better

Also try autocannon havoc cheap and effective

Of course pm are better than chosen.
