Hey all, I've been slowly ridding myself of all excess GW products.

I'm trimming the collection down to a single army/faction for the main games.

I have an Eldar 40k army, Necron BFG fleet, a Delaque gang for Necromunda and a Possessed Cult for Mordheim.

I currently have a few hundred points of Warriors of Chaos but I've found that I can't get myself interested in painting them.

I may have someone interested in buying them and I was thinking about using the cash to begin Lizardmen.

Now, I don't have a copy of the rule book but I am relatively familiar with the theme of the army.

I was wondering if someone who has a new rule book could perhaps make me a list of kits that I could buy that would create a 3000pt list with the following criteria:

DINOSAURS!!!!! As many large dinosaur models as possible.

A Slaan leader.

As few infantry models as possible.

That's it. I don't need to know the points values or any rules or gear. I can learn all that for myself later. For now I'd just like to know what kind of look such an army would have.

I'd just like to collect a bunch of the big dino models but I'd like to be able to play a few games with them every now and then.

The army wouldn't have to be competitive. It could be absolutely horrible on the tabletop. That's fine with me because I'll have them looking pretty on a shelf most of the time.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

You can't really have few infantry since all their core are infantry. Even with skin+kroxigor units, you need 8 skinks per krox which is cheaper points-per-model than just basic saurus.

Get a carnisaur, they look cool. Get a bastilidon. Get a stegadon. Those are the big dinos. See which ones you like. Troglodon is there too, but they aren't as good.

Well as I said, the practicality of the list isn't a concern.

I'm thinking what I'd like would be the Carnosaur Lord, the blind thing, Steggadon, the big turtle/ankylasaur, some salamanders and terradons/ripperdactyls.

Without yet knowing the points I was hoping for someone to say something like:

Carnosaur, 2 turtle things, 2 steggadons, 5 salamanders ect.

As I said, I'm not looking for points values just the basic number of models while trying to fit in as many big things as possible.

Agreed. I feel with the decision to not have dinosaurs in MW2 PC activision really sent the game's quality down the toilet .

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

You can do a dino heavy list. But you will still have some infantry.

A standard 2500 point list will probably be somewhere around,

Slann General/BSB

Oldblood/Scar Vet on Carnosaur x2

2 blocks of Saurus Warriors for Core, maybe some Skinks as well

a couple Stegadons

a couple Bastilidons

And a couple units of Ripperdactyles and Jungle Swarms

Just a loose idea of what you might have.

You could take the Slann character that rides on a Stegadon instead of a generic Slann, that would be one more Dinosaur.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
