Please help me determine which list is more competitive. I’m looking at finalizing my list for an upcoming tournament, but I’m worried that my 1st list is not competitive enough with the current MC meta. So, I’ve been looking at other ways to handle MC threats. List 1 is a Mono IG list, demolishers are to ID Daemon Princes. List 2 removes a demolisher and a melta squad to add in a Blood thirster to Deal with Riptides, and contend with Wraith knights.

Please help me not embarrass myself with a weak list.

I’m uncertain if the Bloodthrister makes up for the lost firepower. Please comment and critique. I want to make the most competitive IG army I can.

I think the first list is better, as on the whole shooting is better than CC, and while I'm not familiar with how the Bloodthirster performs these days, I'm pretty sure there are better ways to handle MCs.

Personally, if I were facing Riptides/Wraithknights ect, I would swap one demolisher for a Vanquisher with LC and PC. I know you will have to know off some upgrades to make this work, but I think it could work, as I'm not sure the Master of the Fleet is needed as much.

I would also swap the HF on the Chimeras for HB, it doubles your mid-range anti-infantry/light vehicle firepower.

Boots on ground ..I suggest at least one platoon on Foot ..with Vets in Chimera's
an ADL and a Quad is not out of the question ..for the foot platoon
