Looking for some feedback from those of you who have used past GW and FW campaign products. Our gaming group just wrapped up a smaller campaign http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/491377.page and we're now building a larger one as we look to introduce some newer players.

I have the Fall of Orpheus and am quite intrigued by the campaign system included which I am tailoring to our group, but thought I would check to see if others have used this or the Badab's war campaign or crusade of fire. Primarily interested in whether or not the unbalanced missions actually proved fun to play and looking for suggestions on house rules or other things that made them even more fun.

Our group is gearing up for our second time through the Badab Campaign.
The games are refreshing because its not just a match up, its part of a story arc..

Definitely thought about that, but we may have the only group where not everyone has a power armor army, and I don't think the Badab's war lends itself as we'll to reinterpretation. That being said have you guys enjoyed the missions? I always worry when designing scenarios that they can sometimes be not fun as a result of being too imbalanced.

yeah, the games are fun and they all have a thrust to them -- characters v. characters or a big siege.
And you can play other armies in the Badab campaign, it just doesnt count for as much of victory when marines beat or lose against tjhe Xenos..
