I was wondering if anyone on DD might have a link to a good tutorial on achieving a marble effect?
I'm looking to paint the base below like marble (the broken statue part anyway).

Thanks in advance for any help P.S. Constructive criticism welcome on Sharpclaw too (he's not finished, needs his front legs and claws layered/highlighted)

Great - thanks for that, looks a bit complex but I'll give it a bash and see how it turns out.

I was hoping for a more 'white' marble so I'll keep looking but that's a good place to start.

Looks good! Miniwargaming have quite a good tutorial on a wet blended marble effect,
How did you paint the feathers??? Currently working on Karl grand on deathclaw but the feathers don't seem to be working for me!
