Im looking for some useful tips on painting my Space Wolves
I'm a decent painter, but I'm using really basic techniques and I don't really spend enough time on my models
Just looking for some general advice as to how to improve the quality of my models, thanks!

I'm from the future. The future of space

I'd start watching youtube videos. There are tons. Search for things like "How to paint space wolves" and see where it takes you.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Post some pictures of a model that you feel you've done your best on. Then we can assess what skills and techniques you have and give a better recommendation of where to go from there. You mentioned you don't think you spend enough time on your models... So, you could always look into whether you're looking to spend more time to get better results or if you want to improve the results with the same amount of time investment.

I used a grey primer to both prime & basecoat my wolves:

I know it's the wrong type of 'grey' but I prefer this to the normal blue that's used.
BTW I haven't finished any yet :(
Next step is to gloss varnish then do a black oil pin wash over the top.

Also the 'black' is infact a very dark grey I mixed up & potted so I can shade it.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Well it seems you've got the basecoating down. Next up is shading (you can use washes for this to make it easier) and adding highlights (like edge highlighting). If you've mastered those you could try adding stuff like battle damage, glow effects etc.
That's basically what I'd suggest
