Was playing a game last night where my opponent was using a Bastion with a Quadgun up top. He stated that it was T7 and W2 like most artillery guns and that it was turrent mounted so that it'd have a 360 degree arc.

Having not played against many quad guns, we played it that way; however, after the battle I couldn't find where in the BRB is gave such information about the Quad Gun or ILC.

Can someone point me to where in the BRB it says they have such stats and are turrent mounted?

Page 105 says that a gun emplacement is fired using the normal rules for shooting - meaning it's measured from the model firing the weapon. And since only infantry can use the weapon there's no arc to worry about.

So it's not turret mounted - it's not a vehicle weapon at all.

A quad gun doesn't use vehicle arcs, so as long as the model that is shooting it can see something, it can be fired. The actual quad gun model could be behind a wall completely out of sight, but if the model firing it can see it can fire it.... Odd, but that's how it works.

YMDC has plenty of room for discussion veering away from the RAW, particularly in cases like this where what is being put forward as the RAW is absurd.
