Hi guys,
I've been buying a few older WFB army books to use as background/fluff books for WFRP. Since I haven't really been a consistent player since 4th edition, I'm noticing a series of covers of army books on eBay with identical covers, save a border around them.

Like this:

So what's the deal?

Are they for different editions of WFB? And if so, is the fluff the same? What about the lists?
Are they just different runs of the same book?
Is one a later/updated edition with errata?

or...?

TIA!

They are different runs for the same book.

A follow-up question to this - which ones are the later printing, and do they have errata included in them?

I'm thinking the top one is the more recent as it matches the most recent covers of the Dwarfs and Beastmen.

The one with the borders is the most recent printing of that book, that being said, the contents are exactly the same.

They are sixth edition books. The one with the border is the newer of the two. If you observe the border around the more recent one and the back cover you can see the difference with latter editions.

There is a pattern around the border that is different from seventh edition books. Obviously 8th edition has gone hardback so that's easy to determine.
