I was palying chaos rising and a lector flesh hooked a space marine and I thaught, what if he grabbed it, so I figured that would make an awesome diorama.
im thinkingof making a wounded marine (laying on the ground) with a bolt pistol pointed at the lector in one hand... and the fleshhooks end in the other. the highlight of the diorama would be the flesh hooks themselves, and the story.

Not quite sure what the point of this thread is...
Are you asking for modeling advice? Pictures of similar dioramas for inspiration? Words of encouragement? Feedback on the concept? So far, all you've done is stated vague intent to build something.

Sounds like a cool idea, the wounded marine with the bolt pistol from the pack of three wound be perfect (sounds like this may have fueled your imagination anyway). Id do It where he was laid on some muddy jungle floor about the be eviscerated by the lictor (could have some little 'nids creeping out of the backdrop too).. Just personal taste though
Good luck! Get at it.

for th base of the diorama im going to use a CD ROM. @noballgames, you get the general idea, but I was thinking more like a rocky waste, with the marine propped up against a rock and some homagount bodies at his feet. also ill do the flesh hooks by making four very thin strips of GS and then wrapping them around eachother and finally adding the hook(s?)
