All my friends at my local 40k place say that Kaldor Draigo has a 2++. So ive looked in the GK codex and there is nothing to say that he does. I know he has a storm shield(3++) but i dont think he has anything that gives him a 2++
Does he have a 2++ or not? If he does then how does he get it?

His invun save is only a 3++, note that he has a Force sword, and not a nemesis force sword (which gives a 1 increase to your invun save)

Just because he doesn't have a 2++ doesn't mean he's still awesome. I love breaking out Draigo every once in a while.

That being said, It may be more viable to either use Crowe and Purifiers (which some say it's as good in this edition, I've have good luck with them) Or just use Strike Squads.
They have A storm bolter and a force sword, and for relatively cheap in the codex, Having a Few full squads of those is a really good way to play them. Plus you can upgrade them with Psybolt for S5 Storm Bolters and take a couple cheap Psycannon in a full squad.

[Edit]
My personal favorite is to use Crowe and a few units of Purifiers w/ Incinerator. I prefer those to Psycannons.

Yah if he had 2++ that would be insane.

Well, for suggestions on a Grey Knight army, you might want to make a new thread, but since it is your thread I will give you my 2 cents.

The most competitive lists right now are based around cortez and spamming henchmen as troops.

And while I play purifier spam, apparently it is just to squishy for 6th edition.

Also strong lists use stormravens, and large strike squad blocks.

Really, just read this thread

it is pretty awesome
