Hi I think I may have found my chapter to get into the Warhammer 40k universe...
This is what I have come up with, I am not sure on equipment and would like some suggestions on this please.

(1) Shadow Captain Kayvaan Shrike
(5) Assault Squad -

(5) Scout Squad - 4x Sniper, Missile Launcher
(5) Scout Squad - 4x Sniper, Missile Launcher

(10) Tactical Squad - Drop Pod

(5) Assault Squad -
(5) Assault Squad -

I want to build a fluffy Raven Guard army which is viable through using the fluff tactics (do you get what I mean?).
I have no idea on Raven Guard in 6th edition, I am new to 40k, so all information is welcome.
Thanks

When building a list you need to be able to take on all threats. Right now, you have no anti-tank or air firepower.

My standard advice for Raven Guard players (and it seems there are a lot of you coming out of the woodwork) is a hybrid drop list. Roughly half you army is in drop pods, and the other half is fast/scouting/infiltrating.

You want an odd number of pods, to maximize first turn impact. Not sure if you can make that work in 1,000 points. A drop dread (MM, or ironclad), sternguard squad, and a tac squad dropping last makes for a nice trio.

The on-table part can be pretty much anything in the FA slot, plus some scouts. Go with what you like.

Just be sure you can check off a way to deal with:
Getting scoring units to objectives, and having them there at the end of the game
Heavy armor
Light armor/transports
Hordes
Flyers
MCs

Really, I would start with the core of the 750 point list in your other thread, keeping everything in there as it is. Then swap the chaplain for Shrike if you want (although I really would save him for 1500+ games). Then add either a stormtalon or devs for AA (devs will get AA missile upgrades in the new codex), and if you have the points another Tac squad or sternguard in a pod (I'd go with the tacs at this level)

Well, I'd wait until the new SM codex comes out. Ravenguard will get special rules like stealth and mobilty (for jump packers).
