Looks good... But replacement gun barrels were undercoated in grey... Not red oxide.

@mwnciboo Thanks The only book which lets you field JT is Nuts!. I have 3 different lists made out centered around a core of infantry and JT. Two lists of 17.SS and one of 12.VGD.


@Big P Aye but I have grown a fond likeing for red oxide gunbarrel after looking Heresy Brusch tutorial And after that I just had to give it a try. And I think it looks good although totally out of reality.

@Reaver83: Not even once. Just too expensive in money and in points. And 3 or 4 RV tanks which will cost a lot is just going to get me into trouble with my play style :S I need a solid base of infantry backed up with all the hi-tec I can get

Made some finetuning to the paintjob and I'm quite happy about the finished look of the model.

I'll have to take my words back about not going to field schwere panzerjägerkompanie. After giving the thought a little more time, I just had to order 2 more Big Cats and a pack of FlaK43s to keep those Allied Jabos away.

Is there any access to recon like 8 rads?

I'd have also considered saving points with foot infantry as in my head (when I play with Jagdpanthers) I try to use the infantry to add defensive fire/block ambushes

Aye it's a lot of AA, maybe drop wirbelwinds, trucks and nebs and take 10,5 leFH instead. Then I'd have 6 platoons which is good again for half on/half off missions.

Sadly there is no opt for recce :( I wonder why not because 653. sPzJgAbt. supported 17.SS and various other formations and they surely did have recon!!

As an alternative have you considered using the FT panzer grenadier list as a base?

You have the 2 FT grenadier platoons (though no half tracks)
3 JT's
2 8 rads
3 15cm nebs
And I had either mortars from the heavy platoon or AA

You also then defend vs tanks - digging out allied infantry may be hard though...

@Reaver83: hmmm that could work a lot better with my playstyle and they even have recce! Also a platoon of 3 JTs is propably going to be a hard nut to crack with their high armor.
