So, I want to field a Protector Cohort to escort a wee lil' Magos of an AdMech army (using rules provided by Forge World and the 40k community), and I was wondering whether they are fielded as a 5-man squad with an attached IC or as an upgrade unit to the Magos (akin to the servitor-upgrade for Techmarines)? (Also I wasn't sure whether to post this in tactics or you make da call.)

There are no rules right now for skitarii, so the answer is "whatever you decide to do when you make up your own rules for them".
