I've, somewhat sucessfully gotten my wife interested in 40k, she has a small grey knight task force as it stands, and decided that she wanted a set of 'bad guys' to go along with her 'good guys' And, well, turns out she really likes the design of the necrons. However, instead of going with all silver again, i ran afew ideas past her and so far settled on black and pink. What i need though is a third offset color that i haven't quite figured out yet. Im thinking red but i have my doubts on how that will look with how it is now. I know i /SHOULD/ ask her what she would like as a third color.. she did suggest boltgun metal.. but.. eh? Im not sure what, or where to implement metalic on the warrior.. something i never thought i would admit on a necron.. Anyways, here is what ive gotten to thus far, and she really seems to like it.

Oh, and before anyone asks.. these are all repainted ontop of my own existing necron warriors, so please ignore the basing scheme.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

Maybe you could do the shoulderpads white or some other bright color?

Could give it a metal deathmask. Paint the front of its head silver to break up the black. Maybe file down the mouth to make it more like a mask.

Black + pink gives you colour only on the red side of the wheel, but already a nice contrast between the pink and the black. I'd go with a colour that contrasts with the pink. With the mechanical theme, any kind of yellowish metal hue sounds very good. A cold blue might be nice for smaller bits like eyes or some spikes.

Mine are similar to your scheme (bronze and pink rather than black and pink). I don't think you necessarily need a third colour... at least, I feel mine work fine with those two main colour plus the base (which is grey).

maybe a light energy blue for detailing in giving it more of a electronic kind of look? a darker silver lining around some of the joints could e kin of cool with that lack maye give it the effet that its a more seasoned looking necron who has started to scrape off the paint around the joints and rivets. idk about the red, but you could do a simular shade of purple giving some of the areas near the pink a deeper depth of color maybe?
