Brooding Night Goblin

I've been playing Chaos since the new codex came out, but I have never fielded much in the way of Tanks or Dedicated assault units.
So I am looking to change that with this list.
HQ
Chaos Lord 105pts
-Mark of Khorne
-Gift of Mutation
-Power Weapon
-Melta Bombs
TROOP
9 Khorne Berzerkers 224pts
-Rhino
-Dirge caster
-Havoc Launcher
-Combi Bolter
Melta Bombs
9 Khorne Berzerkers 224pts
-Rhino
-Dirge Caster
-Havoc Launcher
-Combi Bolter
Melta Bombs
9 Khorne Berzerkers 167pts
Melta Bombs
ELITE
Terminators 110pts
x3 Combi-Melta
Terminators
x3 Combi-Melta 110pts
HEAVY SUPPORT
Vindicator 147pts
-Siege Shield
-Havoc Launcher
-Combi-Bolter
Vindicator 147pts
-Siege Shield
-Havoc Launcher
-Combi Bolter
Land Raider 262pts
-Havoc Launcher
-Combi Bolter
-Destroyer Blades
Total 1496pts
The main concern I have is a lack of long range dedicated anti tank. I typically have a unit or two dedicated to the task, but in this force most units have "some" ability to attack vehicles but not alot.
My main opponent is C:SM and he typically brings several small infantry units for range support and objective camping, a land raider to deliver assault Terminators and some form of heavy fire support such as a vindicator or predator.
Any help is appreciated, I would like you to be as brutal as possible in analyzing this list. The only unit I do not wish to budge from is the Vindicators, I have developed a strong attachment to the model and wish to field at least one.

Why havoc launchers on the vindicators? Surely you won't be able to fire them when you fire the main cannon as you can't snap - fire blasts.

I have a regular opponent who tries a similar list, and I would say running bezerkers in rhinos ia really difficult to get right. Use khorne marked marines if you can, or if thats just the models you have, disembark as soon as you can. Long range anti tank is missing, as is a decent way of killing monsters. Maybe combi meltas on the rhinos.

Thank you, It had completely slipped my mind that Ordnance restricts firing of other weapons. What would you do for long range anti-tank? I feel like the Terminators should be capable of dealing with vehicles, but it would be
better to have a squad on the table turn 1. I rarely field Havocs so I cannot speak to their usefulness and Obliterators would likely be too expensive. I have no experience dealing with Monstrous creatures, as typically I am the only one
that fields them. I would have no real idea how to go about fighting one effectively, besides the usual autocannon Predator setup.

An additional tank weapon cannot hurt. Indeed, in the new edition you have to roll for the weapon to be destroyed after a weapon-destroyed result.

But if they already have combi bolters already then the chance of a destroyed demolisher cannon is still only one in two from a weapon destroyed result (which are rare enough anyway since glances just do hull points these days). I don't think its worth spending the points on a weapon that will almost never be fired... Can anything take a land raider as a dedicated transport in the chaos codex? The termis maybe? That could free up a heavy support slot for a lascannon predator maybe (although you'd have to drop a unit of melta terminators). Adding more armour can only be a good thing to put more strain on the enemy's anti tank capability

The Terminators can take a Land Raider as a dedicated transport, and given the relatively low cost of a Predator it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to get it into the list. If I do take a Land Raider as a dedicated transport am I still able to Deep strike my Terminators separate from the Land raider? I mean, the entire reason I have the Land raider is as a transport for one of the Berzerker squads, and to use it as a durable weapons platform. The only reason I really see it working is because of all of the other armor I have in the army. It was going to spearhead the assault whilst still laying down some fairly heavy fire. I use Terminators exclusively for their combi weapon and then I try to get them in combats that are already going on to add extra pressure. It wouldn't be practical to use them as though they were assault Terminators because it would be points heavy and they wouldn't achieve much. If I can Deepstrike them separately then it should be viable to include a Predator, otherwise I would need to change the list around a fair amount.
I am pretty dead set on keeping the Berzerkers over marked Marines though. I did a little digging and I have found that Berzerkers should outperform marked Marines, not by very much but the difference is there.

You can deep strike them separately, but the restriction would be that the beserkers wouldn't be able to start in the land raider transport (although you can just move them in on turn one).
I think its probably a price worth paying to get another AV13 tank into the mix though!
Have you considered swapping the larger beserker squad out for some assault - orientated terminators? I guess it might leave you light on troops though...

The main question I would have in regard to that is what would I DO with the Terminators? I could Tarpit his assault Terminators whilst my Zerkers go for objectives, but that would work for maybe a turn or two at most and would be a very expensive tactic for what I feel would be little return. I have actually NEVER used Terminators for anything else besides deep striking harassers because I feel there are better/cheaper options for assault. The reason for this is pretty simple, as soon as my opponent sees the Terminators on the field, they become a priority for his dedicated assault unit. I guess in my group because of what I commonly face I never find that Terminators work for me outside of what I have them do. But there may be something I hadn't thought of though, like I said I don't field them often. The predator is definitely in though, I do agree that more armor is only going to increase the overall strength of the army.
