Good evening, guys. I've been painting and reading 40k for 4-5 years now, but I'm totally new to the gaming aspect of our hobby.
My local store is beginning a KillTeam League in October and I will join with Eldars.
I have made up 2 lists with some of my favorite flavor-wise models but i want to know which one is more viable and more importantly, more fun.
(''more fun'' translates into ''aggro, speed, vzooooooom, pewpewpewpew''. I don't really like stealthy and slow tactics. xD)

List no.1:

Spoiler:
1 TROOPS UNIT:

1 Dire Avenger Exarch with Hit and Run
+2-linked Shuriken Catapult

1 Dire Avenger with Crusader
1 Dire Avenger
1 Dire Avenger
1 Dire Avenger

1 TROOPS UNIT:

1 Jetbike with Shuriken Cannon and Fleshbane
1 Jetbike
1 Jetbike

1 Warlock with Eldar Jetbike, Singing Spear and Plasma Grenade / LEADER

Total: 198
Remaining: 2

List no.2:

Spoiler:
1 TROOPS UNIT:

1 Jetbike with Shuriken Cannon and Feel No Pain
1 Jetbike
1 Jetbike

1 FAST ATTACK UNIT:

1 Warp Spider Exarch with Spinneret Riffle,
Torrent and Far Shot
LEADER
1 Warp Spider with Shrouded
1 Warp Spider
1 Warp Spider
1 Warp Spider

Total: 191
Remaining: 9

From what I've seen, the teams I will be facing are 2 Tyrannids, 1 Orks, 2 Imperial Guard, 1 CSM and some Dark Eldar.
Of course, there will be 4-5 others that I don't really know what they're gonna be playing.

I would like to know your opinions on these lists, if you have any ideas on how to improve them,
and you're more than welcome to post your ideas for a roster.

Thank you in advance

I have a feeling the second list will work better then the first one. The DA simply won't be able to keep up with the bikes so with the first list your force will be split in 2 most of the time. Spiders on the other hand will be able to keep up with the bike, have better armor then the DA and will be able to deal with prettty much anything that comes up at a 200 point cap.

The second one seems much scarier to my KT lists. As Norvak said, the DAs just aren't comparable to the Spiders.

What bothers me, is that both of these lists have way fewer bodies than the opposing teams.
Is that going to be a problem?

How about the specialist skills?
I picked Torrent for mass removal, Shrouded to keep at least one WSs alive and Feel no Pain for the times that the dices love me.
Would you suggest something different?

I love the warp spider, jet bike list. I run something super similar and have had tons of fun and success against all sorts of other lists. I've heard a full set of Spiders is a bit more effective (all shooting s6) but I like the ability to turbo in to claim or contest an objective.

With that in mind, I've used Preferred Enemy instead of FNP, on the SC hey bike. I've also used Fleshbane, but FNP, skilled rider and preferred enemy have been my best used abilities. Sadly, I've never played where I'm allowed to take Shrouded as a specialist power. That'd be super good for spiders who take maximum advantage of cover, with all their ridiculous mobility.

Thanks TV editors.

Thought about skilled rider, but I think its wat subpar without jink :\
I used fleshbane too, and it seems like tons of fun.
Opinions on Zealot or Shred?

But skilled rider lets you refill difficult terrain, which influences my decisions about landing in cover. I'd feel pretty awesome about it with skilled rider, but not without.

hmmm... i will certainly think about and playtest with it.

Why not pure Spiders? In Kill Team you don't need a troop choice, you can play 10 spiders (or 9, or 8, depending on the Exarch options you choose. I personally prefer 9 with spinneret rifle). They are extremely mobile, shoot really a lot and at high strength, and in Kill Team table (that should be full of terrain elements) can often hide after shooting.

Don't list out all the specific point costs for each and every upgrade. It's against forum rules. Instead of the way you're doing it, it's perfectly fine to put:
80pts Dire Avenger Exarch with Hit and Run+2-linked Shuriken Catapult; Dire Avenger with Crusader; 3 Dire Avengers

Zealot and Shred are both good, though close combat might not be the best place for your spiders, which is also why fleshbane is not as great, but preferred enemy is. To use them best, I'd try to get within 12 during the movement phase, shoot em up, Battle focus run towards cover then use their jet pack move to get even further away.

What rules are you using for Kill Team? I know the ones GW published has a specific list of USR that you can take (and doesn't include torrent, unfortunately).

Shroud and stealth are both great for Jetbikes. Fleshbane will help any high ROF gun. Remember things like fleshbane, armourbane, and shred DO affect ranged weapons.

Please refrain from posting individual point costs on units--thanks.

I'm sorry about the points, didn't know about that :\

On topic, I will probably be getting the list no.2 with Shroud, Shred and Fleshbane.
Indeed, torrent used to be a USR but only in previous editions, from what I've checked. Thank you for pointing that out.

As for the 9 spiders list, I will TOTALLY check that out as soon as i have more money to buy the other box of spiders
As I will check a spiders-dragons (or even hawks) list too as soon as my wallet is filled xD
