So a few quick questions that I hope some of you guys can answer relatively easily.

1) back before this 'different trim colors for different companies' thing started, the shoulder pad trim on space marines (IIRC) used to dictate what that space marine did i.e. a red trim marked that space marine as an assault marine. I don't remember for the life of me what those colors were, so if anyone has an older space marine codex and could share, that would help me greatly as I paint up my retro ultramarine battle company.

2) I'm starting to pick up some steel legion miniatures, and I'm curious as to what miniatures were actually produced. For instance, what heavy weapons teams were made for the steel legion? I know of lascannons, heavy bolters and missile launchers, but did they ever make autocannons or mortars? Also, were there any specific command models made for the steel legion like standard bearer, vox casters, officers BESIDES the one officer available on GW's website?

Thanks in advance guys!

One of them filthy casuals...

From memory those were the only SL heavy weapons they made. The lascannon team wouldn't be hard to convert using a plastic autocannon though. Mortars wouldn't be worth the trouble imo.

Edit: Looking through my Armageddon codex, the only other miniatures look to be a plasma gunner and a commander holding his PW above his head in a 'lets dance' pose.

There's the sentinel too obviously and the alternative sergeant holding the Ork head, but that looks to be it. I can't find the WD with the releases but the full army at the front of the codex has just those models. I feel for you dude, I thought vostroyans i had it tough!
