Im having a problem choosing between a prince with star lance with dragon armour of caledor on a star dragon

And an anointed of asuryan and a regular archmage

I like both options but have been unable to field them being a relatively new player if you can please comment on your insight itd be much appreciated

Second choice is much more balanced (also the book of hoeth is awesome for an archmage)
First choice will kick face harder (also buy him a charmed shield and a golden crown of whoever for cannon protection)

The second gives magic protection and lets you cast better stuff, so I would go that route for competitive stuff.
GREAT BIG DRAGON! !! I would go this route for a fun game, as long as you aren't playing DE (where you need the magic protection) or Dwarves / Empire (too many cannon)
