Evening all,

I'm fairly new to the area and am really looking to start broadening the group of people that I play with. Currently I only play against a few friends that I taught how to play.

I'm not super competitive and always build my lists to be fun for both me and my opponent, trying to rely on in-game skill to try to win the game vs having the perfect list.

I've heard that Game HQ is a great place to go, so I checked it out. The employees are great and all the players I've played against are nice, but nobody ever seems to know when most of the 40k players come to play. It'd be great to meet someone who plays a lot and could maybe introduce me to the other players in the shop.

There's also a club that plays every Tuesday and has tournaments once a month.

They're a great bunch and friendly.

The website gives an address that's kind of middle of nowhere. Is there a shop there I haven't heard of or is it just a place to meet and play?

They meet at a church, as their sister group is a ministry.
