Hello!
I've looked in vain for an answer to this point in the FAQ and tried searching the Nuts & Bolts forum, yet my question remained unsolved.
On the forum, next to my posts and under my avater picture, there is a link to the gallery. For my user profile this states that there are 3 pictures in the gallery.
When you click the link to visit the gallery, you see that there are actually 10 pictures. I've tried playing with the image details, but no change.
What am I doing wrong?

whats weird is I see 10 in the galleries link, but only 3 in the featured gallery

I also only see that it says he has 3 images... You have broken the gallery!
It I have 482 gallery images under my post info on the left here, but it says 481 in my gallery.

Is it counting, or not counting, pictures that are attached to posts instead of uploaded to the gallery directly first? Cause I don't know where those go.
When I look through your post history, I see you have 3 images from the gallery embedded in posts. I don't think the preview in post history shows attached images. I'm guessing these are related. Like this one, which you attached?
is in Dakkaforum, not gallery. So technically, it's right.

I think that is because it just shows three pictures of each featured gallery. Since I have all my 10 pictures in one (named) gallery, that'd be normal.

is in Dakkaforum, not gallery. So technically, it's right.
I'm pretty sure that attachments you post via the forum are chucked into the gallery as well. They are shown there. In addition, when I click on other profiles, the amount of gallery pictures under the forum avatar matches the amount of pictures in the person's gallery. So my understanding is that the amount is supposed to be the gallery pictures, not pictures the user added via forum posts. That leaves me again at it saying 3 while the true value is 10 (for now). I thought it might be updating at a later timer over night or whatever, but it's pretty static and stuck on 3. Weird.

Just an idea as of all of his pictures, back this morning, only 3 were voted on. Yet I voted on a fourth and the Galler count did not update either - guess I was wrong ;D

It is a known bug. The picture count updates fairly infrequently and there are a few situations which can cause it to not count properly. A large number of people have mismatched counts - I have it on my list to write a script to automatically re-count and fix everyone's image count on a regular basis. Thanks for the additional notification though.
