ok, so ive been in the hobby for about 6 years, and have bought things that looked cool. so have amassed many space marines, but have no idea how i would break them down into an army/armies.
So, im going to list all my stuff as per their codex, and i hope someone can help me turn these guys into one or more fighting forces, and im also willing to buy more models. so...

Blood angels:
1 sanguinary priest
20 assault marines
5 vangaurd vets
1 mephiston

Darkangels:
captain
librarian
Chaplin
5 dark vengeance terminators
1 tactical squad
sammael, master of whetever
9 ravenwing bikers
1 attack bike
1 landspeeder

Non chapter specific models:
techmarine and servitor retinue
20 tactical marines

2 plasma cannon
2 lascannon
2heavy bolter
5 missile launchers
5+ plasma gunners
3+ flamers

sterngaurd squad of 5 guys
2 heavy flamers

2 squads of vostroyans. a commissar, a command squad and a captain, allis maybe? idk

anyways, i need help making these into either one, or two armies (blood angels and/or darkangels) (with possible vostroyan allis)

What kind of army do you want to play? And what codexes do you have? I'm a C:SM player, so don't know the specifics of BA/DA, but it looks like you could field legal armies from all the forces you have. How much of your stuff is painted? It might just be easier to roll it all up into a DA army with BA allies. Or just pure DA.

Get most of your power armor marines into tactical or devastator squads, and form a gunline. (grab an ADL w/quadgun) Add elites and fast attack pick to go out and hammer threats on your opponent's side of the table. Add BA allies for a decent of angels assault/scoring unit push to seize objectives.

hi, i have all the codexs, and i dont reall know what type of game id like to play, and isnt the aegis defence line scenery? i dont understand, i havent read the new rule book, and thanks alot for the help, ill buy the defence line

The ADL is a fortification, it helps against flyers as it shoots at full ballistic skill, and not on 6s. I don't play BA or DA but I play SM so if you wanted to play them as DA using the SM codex I'd be glad to help, however.... I don't want to go ahead and post a list unless thats a route you'd like to take. -Feasible

In 6th you can buy fortifications to help your forces. Details are in the main rule book. The ADL is a nice add on to most armies. You can fit a good number of troops/tanks behind it, getting a cover save, and someone can man the gun to give you some AA fire. You may have noticed the flyers darkening the skys these days, it's good to have something to deal with them.

If you haven't been following the rumors, the vanilla marine codex is going to be updated in a few weeks.

As for what kind of army you want to play, there are a lot of different options. 6th is generally regarded as a shooty edition, but there is a large amount of flex in how to put together a marine army. What drew you to marines? What is your favorite unit? What image do you have in mind when you think of 40k? Take that, and form your army around it. Pick other units to shore up it's weaknesses, and complement it's strengths. Done right, you should have a TAC army once you are done. And it will be centered around something you love, making it a blast to play. But it's going to be different for everyone.

For some collections, I can guess at what the owner likes, but yours is all over the place. Pick 2-3 things you like as a framework, and we can build from there.

also i bought 10 normal scouts and 5 sniper scouts so thats on top of my other stuff,

There are 250 points left... I don't know the dark angels ravenwing point cost but I know Sammael makes them troops so its worth it. Take like 5, attack bike, spam em with melta and then just screw around in their zone. Thats my 2 cents. -Feasible

What weapons did you arm them with? This will effect the point cost, how effective you can build the army around them, and what they can "count as"

ok, i see now, for the ba, i have the two assault squads with cs and bp, and then i have a questionn, should my sarge have a powerfist or a power axe? and then i have the models to make up death company, but i dont know how big of squad, transport, weapons etc. i should use. and i have an unbuilt sang gaurd pack now too! oh, and i bought mephhy, astorath, and another chaplin
