We try out the new Black Legion Chaos Supplement and Frankie uses all of his cheesy might to create a pretty nasty list!

Very good battle report Reece and I am very interested in seeing that new nova spell actually go off in a game. I hope you plan on doing another batrep with Frankie's list and possibly your Eldar.

Yeah, we certainly will.

Also, Black Sun Filters block blind, so those pesky Tau will be able to defend against it with the suits, dang it!

I enjoy watching your bat reps, especially when you go over your turn tactics and stuff. Thanks for the great batrep.

Its a game, have fun. If you arent for some reason...find a new one.

Not the best game, but I appreciate you keeping a straight face, Reece.

Give the Sorcerer terminator armour and deepstrike him in Doom of Malantai style. Could be great.

Hoehoedomino what a match... Poor necrons, cool to see you demoing the powers and stuff after the game though.

Thanks for another awesome batrep, Reece. I only wish 2 things: More bat reps, and I like the overhead camera angle, to see how the models progressed throughout the game. And please let me know how I can support your business so you can keep doing what you do. Again, much thanks for the entertainment and knowledge!

I like the in-depth discussion of units and tactics. A lot of bat-reps don't do enough of that.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

This is a really good batrep. Helping people to learn how to play there armies is super cool. You are a Boddisatha.

Very nice batrep.

What happened to your eldar Reece? Did you bet them at the Golden Throne and loose them? Or did you get burnt out on them from the constant challenges?

Thanks a lot of the kind words, guys! It's appreciated. And the feedback is welcome, we are always trying to improve.

The overhead angle isn't always possible if the other table in the shop is in use.

I actually think I cheated on accident, I thought Jetbikes could deep strike as the rule books alludes that they can but I think you can't now, rereading the rule.

@Hippest

I figured I would lose that one, honestly. It was more to show off some cool stuff than to try and beat Frankie (although I did try but failed miserably, haha!).

@Garukadon

Thanks! You can support us by buying product form our store (we sell most goodies at 20% off retail, flat $5.99 shipping in the USA), going to our tournaments, getting your stuff painted by us or just going to our blog!

@Ansacs

Yeah, burn out. The challenges were CRAZY, people were coming out of the woodwork to take a swing at me. It was fun but I like to play lots of different armies so I have been putting Eldar aside for a while. I will pick them up again soon I am sure, I get antsy playing just one army.

@Thread

Everyone has said they like the mid turn thoughts, so that will definitely be something we continue to do.

I do like the thoughts on strategy as sometimes the reasons for doing things are not clear in a batrep.

Do you ever ally any of your armies?

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes we assume a certain level of understanding from the audience but things we take for granted, even basic stuff, isn't always clear. It helps a lot to get more exposition on what's going on.

And yeah, I ally frequently, actually. My Eldar use Dark Eldar, and my IG use Marines or some flavor. My Crons roll solo, though. My Orks I typically don't ally either, but have considered some converted Tau to look Orky, half just because it would be fun to do! And of course, my Nids can't ally, so hey!

Not often we see you lose Reecius, but Frankie handled his units very well AND had the dice on his side.

Good win Fankie. Well done.

Must have been a frustrating game for Reecius, but kudos for keeping at it.

I'm also a bit of an army butterfly. It seems that no sooner do I finish painting one army, that I switch back to playing another and buying more mini's for it that I need to paint.

Yeah, the game is a lot more fun for me when I can switch armies all of the time, I love experimenting with new combos and trying new things. I enjoy the feeling of discovery that comes along with that!

And yeah, when the stupid Monolith misshaped and blew up (how does a giant building falling from space explode when it lands on a Cultist?! haha) that was curtains for me!

I like this idea.
