Are you a budding sculptor, fancy doing a good deed for a charity of your choice ?

WAMP the miniature painting site (who also put out the free magazine Portal) are having a sculpting contest, I've copied the rules and link below

(NOTE: If you win you give up your reproduction rights to them, and choose which charity your minis sales will go to help, so you can't enter something you want to sell elsewhere, but if you're just staring out and want to make a name for yourself, want to make something specifically for the contest, or have a sculpt you just can't get into production but think everybody should have a chance to own, now's your chance)

Wamp in association with Black Dragon casting is proud to announce its first ever sculpting contest.

Wamp is renowned for its painting contests but this is a chance to flex those sculpting muscles and help out a good cause too.

The contest is open to any sculpt. it can be any scale, genre or topic. It can be a character, monster, even scenery or accessories are eligible.

Prize
The winner will receive:

£100 Cash
£100 Wamp Store Credit
Upto 10 casts of your sculpt
Choose which charity to donate proceeds too (see Charityworks below)

We may offer further prizes in the event of us finding several sculpts we would like to retain
Deadline
5pm 30th November 2013 (British Time)

CharityWorks
Wamp CharityWorks is our new range of miniatures that will help raise money for charity. Each miniature in the range will donate a percentage of each sale to a charity.
Each miniature created is based upon someone's loved one that has passed away. the miniature is a dedication to that person and will have a charity associated to that miniature (one relevant to the loved one, chosen by the sponsor).
Every sale of that said miniature will give a donation to that charity. This is a permanent arrangement.
The winning sculptor will have the opportunity to dedicate their sculpt to someone of their choosing and nominate a charity for donations to go to.

Judging
The contest will be judged by the Wamp Admin team, Black Dragon casting and Portal magazine Editor

Rules

•Any entry must be your own work
•The winning entry and reproduction rights will be donated to Wamp.
•Any winning entry must be of a saleable and cast-able quality. We reserve the right to reduce or cancel the prize in the event of no such entry being received
•Sculpt will be cast by Black Dragon Castings
•Winner will receive between 5 and 10 copies of the sculpt. numbers will depend on size of the sculpt (e.g. single 28mm scale would receive 10, dragons 5)
•Entries must be uploaded to the Wamp Gallery (please edit photo and opt for 'Wamp Sculpting Contest' in the contest selection)
•You must be a Wamp member in order to upload to the gallery
•The Winner will have the chance to choose a charity of their choice for donations from proceeds of miniature sales.

I would encourage you all to have a go at this contest, even if you haven't sculpted before its a great opportunity to get involved. the aim of the contest is to create something we can use to raise money for good causes.

Unlike our normal contests this doesn't have to be new work. You can enter something you have already sculpted.

And please help spread the word!
