Uh, I went to GW site and read the info on Hobbit Rulebook, but it did not hint at anything but the Hobbit (movie). Then I saw a War of the Ring rulebook, that does cover the Uruk-Hai timeframe.... Which is the one to get?

The War of the Ring rulebook is a book designed for larger battles, more like Fantasy. The Hobbit rulebook is the LOTR equivalent to the big rulebook for WFB or 40k. It's the most recent set of rules regarding the skirmish game. So therefore you'd be looking at the Hobbit rulebook, and then getting the Fallen Realms sourcebook.

If you want to play LOTR era battles there are sourcebooks for them to use with the hobbit rules.
