A good SW list will bring lots of GH, RP and LF to cover most bases. Here is what I would take at 1000.

Rune Priest, Living Lightning, Storm Caller: 100
Rune Priest, divination: 100

10 GH, 2x meltagun: 155
Drop pod: 35

10 GH, 2x meltagun: 155
Drop pod: 35

10 GH, 2x flamer: 150
Drop pod: 35

5 Long Fangs, 4x ML: 115

Gives you a good firebase with the RP and LF, while the GH can play more aggressively, dropping on part of enemy and focusing on wiping them out, then move on to the next bit. Play offensively, and tempt the enemy into charging, as with counter-attack you hit just as hard either way, so the more shooting you can get in the better.
