So I'm about to receive a bunch of eldar, and I already have an idea of how I'll get to 1k up to christmas. So to begin with at 500 pts :

What do you think about it ?

A few questions:
What is your plan for your Wraithlord?
Can you use proxies?
Do you have other models, and are you willing to spend a little?

When christmas will come, I'll get 2 wave serpents and a box of dark reapers. I presently also possess Asurmen and 10 other DA. I don't really have plan for my wraithlord, and I don't really make use of proxy.

Ouchy ! Is there a way to counter this ? My main opponent plays IG, but also CSM sometimes.

If you don't want your Dire Avengers getting shot at, the first solution that comes to mind is to draw your enemies fire using another unit. Windriders will do an excellent job at this, and they're much more durable as well.

Also, I'm curious about what your Wraithlord is going to do in your list. If you want it to be a melee monster, then you simply don't have enough bodies to make that feasible, as a footslogging Wraithlord needs an entourage to get anywhere near melee. If you're using it as firing platform however, than you've probably sunk points into a less efficient method than the Fire Prism is already providing. I'd actually recommend dropping the Wraithlord altogether, to spare some pouts for more bodies.

Also, what are you doing with your Farseer?

Well one way is transports, but another is distractions. A wraithlord makes for a distraction no matter what. Walk the Lord up the board while the farseer walks up with the Avengers maybe? The strategy would be based off the seer's powers.

U could bump up points to 750... Then drop the lord, and take 2 wave serpents. Theres a way to keep ur dire avengers alive.
