Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

Don't list individual point values its against forum rules, its ok to have the total point cost for the unit though. So something like Wave Serpent w/ Holo fields scatter laser shuriken cannon-175 is ok to do

Not a fan of the BL+SL combo for walkers. Either SL+SL, SL+Star or BL+BL work best IMHO.

The farseer does not add much to your list meched up. If you want a support HQ for mech, a spiritseer will do far more for less. The buffs and debuffs are cheaper and a bit more relevant to something like DA. For mech, you need a laughingseer to buff or a spiritseer to ride with a unit. The spare points buys you an exarch for the hunter and a chin cannon for the avenger serpent.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I would drop the dire avengers down to a 5 man, no upgrades squad. That would also let you make ur far seer a laughing seer, which would compliment this list a lot better. I woundnt run both wraith knight and walkers with star weapons, instead I would either run knight with dual cannons, and walkers with star plus scatter, or take knight with sun cannon, and walkers with lances.

That was the plan with the walkers / knight. One for AP2, other for vehicles. After reading the advice I will go SC SL walkers and the S10 on the knight.

Cheers for the seer advice, I didn't look at them (just figured they made wraiths troops and that was that). I'll read up and revise.

I agree, drop the Avenger squad down.. I def wouldn't suggest using the exarch... Use the extra points for a laughing-seer like ninja suggests

Laughing seer taken, Avengers down to 8 man at 1499.

Anything else look out of place?

Cheers

Oh warning warning.... Spirit sear with mantle... Not good. In fact very not good. U want a far seer with bike, + mantle, so he has a 2+ cover that he can reroll by just moving 6 inches.

Drop dire avengers to 5 man, and If points still needed exarch down to regular crimson hunter.

I have been tossing around that idea since someone pointed out MOTLG, I can see why 2++ rr is good but what does a spiritseer IC do well? Was thinking about giving him wings so he can contest last turn but with a hunter I'd be lucky to go last. The Autarch isn't much chop either but can at least avoid being assaulted and contest.

Then there is a normal spiritseer, who would he ride with and what would they do? Perhaps with the dire avengers to capture an objective on the other side of the board, buff their cover save and use his power on a target of the knight to rr his 1s.

For me I played a farseer last game at 750 pts and hid him so he can jump out, cast and focus back behind blos cover. He could do with mantle as he did get sniped once and attempted sniped twice.

I think for now I'll play test all 3 and see what fits the list and my style most.

Spirit sears good for being with wraith units, and sometimes bug squads of infinity. I wouldn't recommend it in this list, as there's really no great way to maximize his usefulness. Farseer or autrach tho laughing style wouldn't definitly work.
