Yeah the new codex is coming out in *blah blah blah*. No I don't care. I'm still going to use this until the second the New Codex comes out.

List looks solid overall, just bear in mind vanilla libbys can't get prescience as they can't roll on divination. I'd go with codex power, Gate and something else, and run him with a full squad of sternguard (my recommendation for the some of the remaining points). Mobile and shooty, with great synergy.

That sternguard squad plus a stormtalon will just about round you up to 1500 points

Ahh, sounds good. What should I run combi weapon wise as per the current meta of my store being Tau, Crons, Marine, and Space Wolves?

Plasma is decent taking wounds off multi wound models and as well decent at popping armor 10/11 "relatively" reliable

Only plasma? How much of it? would it be wise to mix melta and plasma?

If you're taking a full squad, then it might be an idea to give half plasma and half flamer, and combat squad them to handle 2 target types.
