First of all I would suggest you to drop the
NFH from your
GKSS .. they are a shooting unit with above the average assault capabilities .. you should consider them as objective grabbers who can add extra fire power at 24" and defend themselves decently if someone assaults them. I also like Paradigm's idea to
DS them !
Terminators are to fragile these days but I understand if you want to add them as they are the core of the army as the codex says but more importantly because they are the coolest miniatures out there

. So I would take a 10x squad with 2x psycannons a mix of swords/hammers/halberds and psy ammo for 470 points . I would then attach an Ordo Malleus
Inq with termie armor + psycannon + hammer + mastery
lvl 1 (for prescience) .. Then again consider that 2x
DK equipped with Incinerator + teleporter are also 470 points.. It come's down to 10x T4 wounds and serious 24" fire power vs 8x T6 wounds with 20+ inches S6 AP4 template and mobility ... It's your playstyle that would decide which one you 'll choose
If you want to add an Inqisition detachment go with Coteaz attached to 3x plasma cannon servitors + 2x monkeys + 7x bolter warrior acolytes / 4x crusaders behind
ADL (your choice again depending on your local meta for acolytes vs crusaders I mean)
I think the Pallys are serving no purpose in the list (
IMHO)
Vindicare should be taken if you have also a Techmarine to bolster a ruin for a 2+ save but then again a lot of enemy units deny cover so even that I consider him a h3ll of a unit I suggest you drop him ..
Librarian is in the codex to buff your army so use him accordingly
Hope that helps!!
Thank you for the input!
Why would dropping the hammer be a good idea? I'm aware that a
SS is a ranged unit first and foremost, but isn't having a S8/10 hit in combat worth it to deal with anything nasty worth the points value?
I'm unsure about deep striking in, I've played with demons for years and I'm aware of just how dramatically badly that can go,and I don't have an
HQ that can help those reserve rolls. I may keep some in reserve to make use of the servo skulls but I also like the extra protection the rhinos will provide for at least a turn or two.
The terminators are quite simply to be a bodyguard. Again, I intend to run them in a chimaera as a bit of a mobile gun boat/support unit as the Libby will be with them, providing support to the strike squads.
They seemed the better choice as they are a troops choice for objectives, and much as that extra wound looks amazing I felt it was perhaps putting too many eggs in one basket with the Libby in the squad too. Or should i just man up and find those points?
Another thing I would like to ask is surely the cover and line of sight blocking the rhinos provide is worth something?
Cotaez does seem to fit my inquisitorial needs slightly better actually. The small points difference is kinda worth it now i really look at it.
Can I ask why the crusaders? there 3++ is effectively the same as the cover save from the aegis. There shouldn't be too many things that can get that close.
The 2 solo Pallys were admittedly a bit of a off the wall idea.
My thinking was to have both deep strike and holocaust twice then if by some miracle they survived they could still run around and scare troops with holocaust and vehicles with the hammer, possibly assaulting smaller squads and challenging out the characters (within reason).
I know they are "just terminators" but that's 4W at T4 with a 2+/5++ firing off some S5 blasts and have the power to insta kill basically everything in combat.
If nothing else they were going to be target saturation/ suicide.
I'm sensing this was a bad idea now however.
The vindicare I felt would provide some MUCH needed anti-armor in my list, with just him and the henchmen having the range and threat to take down vehicles.
I'm also pretty sick of those unassailable necron squads with
MSS and lightning crypteks. Thought he would do well as a support in this aspect.

Second, max out on Psycannons and always take Psybolt ammo on everything that can take it. Psybolt ammo has paid off for me every single time I have taken it.
Third, consider taking a Grandmaster. They are considered the best unnamed option for an
HQ in the entire game.
Fourth, if you can afford it, Paladins are usually worth the extra 15 points per model over standard Terminators simply because they have +1WS and +1Wounds over standard Terminators, additionally, you can take them as loners.
Fifth, take one or two Dreadnoughts and outfit them with dual, Twin-Linked Autocannons and Psybolt Ammunition.
Psybolt ammo I couldn't agree more on, its simply godly!
But again, I heard
GK forces should be kept "cheep and cheerful" and psybolt ammo was only really a viable upgrade for 10 man squads. anything smaller and it just feels like it could be too expensive.
See I looked very carefully at the grand master, I know he is far more of a combat beast than a Libby, and provides unending tactical flexibility, but honestly the Libby just feels better to me.
As it stands my force isn't deep striking much, consists of mainly troops and moves fast enough to utilize cover (I hope). The scout move could be amazing I admit, but the more consistent support of Libby buffs seem like they could just be more useful more often.
I'm also aware the
GM is far better in combat. I will absolutely be picking one up once I expand my collection to include Purifiers, Interceptors etc and other units that make his flexibility really pay for itself (a objective capturing dread-knight sounds ridiculous)
Again, the main reason I don't have a dread-knight/dreadnought is I simply don't own the model. I'm leaning more towards a
DK as those heavy weapons look epic and the fire support dreadnoughts provide could be utilized on razorbacks/land raiders.
Please tell me if I'm incorrect about this at all.
Once again, Thank you for the input and advice, I still want to hear more ideas about how to expand my force.
