Greetings Dakkanauts, I posted a couple weeks ago asking about a good way to run a fluffy Thousand Sons army. Well my focus has switched a bit and now I am leaning toward Alpha Legion. So the question is, What do you guys think can go into a CSM force to get a good fluffy feel for the sons of Alpharius and Omegon while still being able to hold its own.

I want to keep it themed so I'm not going to do mono god or anything like that, Going for Alpha Legion so I am trying to keep it as "corruption" free as possible. Right now looking at my cart I've got 1 box of CSM, 2 boxes of Raptors, 1 box of Havocs, 2 Sorcerers, and 2 Rhinos. I wanted to get a Heldrake and Forgefiend but sweet titties are they pricey.

Alpha legion can go many ways. If i were you keep the corruption as far away from it as you can since imho you can use either the bluebook or csm book for alpha legion. Stay away from anything that has the demon special rule or has any type of mutations to it. I think that would keep you along the theme of alpha legion

Problem is I also want them to be at least half-way decent. I don't need to be top tier competitive but I would like to have a chance when I play them.

It will be hard to do that without adding any mix of chaos taint to them. Maybe wait for the rumored alpha legion supplament coming in the summer of 20never.....
