Does any one think that the new SM codex will help them be more competitive?
I know that there is gonna be some nasty AA stuff, but will that be enough?
Just asking. As a necron player I want to try something new. Also every one at my shop play's them
Thank you

According to rumors they look pretty nasty with all the rerolls.

They can't be less competitive so yes. I think the main issue they face is most people build list with them in mind as an opponent. This will continue as long as they are popular.

Vanilla Marines (aka Ultramarines) from all editions I've ever played have been competitive. I doubt that will change in 6th.

If not for the mediocre who would be great, and thank goodness for those who are just terrible they make even those who are mediocre look great

Sounds like a silly question considering they are still competitive in 6th with their 5th ed codex utilizing triple thunderfires and other themes. The new codex will only make them MORE effective and competitive. I'll more then likely be changing my BA to Ultra's or Raven maybe even iron hands.

When in doubt get Mephiston out!
My rhinos go ZOOOOM!!!
