Hey guys I've been meaning to post this list for a while now and finally I've got around to it.

I play Grey Knights regularly and I want to spice it up a little. This week I'm versing Nids and I usually run Strike/Term/Purifier units to counter his swarms but each game has drawn out to be so close. Having way less models then him I'm always on edge more so than playing against any other army so far. Nids' sitw is very frustrating to deal with as GKs! He is very good in keeping his whole army under synapse so I find it very hard to out maneuver him or single out his important units. I feel I'm limited with my Gk's mid range combat style therefore I am borrowing my younger brother's Tau for a whole new mix up.

Tau:Main Force - 705pts
HQ
- Cadre FireBlade
Troops
- 11man Fire Warrior Team
- 10man Kroot Squad
Elites
- Crisis Team, 2 Shas'ui w/ 2 missile pods each, Shas'vre w/ Command and Control Node, Multi-spectrum Sensor Suite, all w/ 12 marker drones & bonding knives
- Riptide w/ Ion accelerator, FNP, skyfire

Grey Knights:Allied - 795
HQ
- Inquisitor w/ rad nades
Troops
- 10man Terminator Squad w/ 2 psycannons, 7 halbers, 2 hammers, & banner
Elites
-10 Purifire Squad w/ 4 psycannons

My opponent usually fields a tyrant (sometimes flying), 1-2 warriors with big blast, 2 zoans, 2 guard, trygon prime, carnifex, crap load to gaunts.

The Kroot are there to counter the gaunts and hopefully buying enough time for the Purifiers to counter charge. I plan for the Crisis Team to supply the deny cover saves and the Riptide to smash that dang Flyrant out of the sky along with nuking the Warriors. The Fire Warriors will just set up camp and shoot. While the Terms and Inq try to take out any MC that gets to close.

Any advice/criticism/tactics will be much appreciated

I'd trade out the terminators for basic strike squad dudes, too many armies are built for blowing up terminators and if the list is for playing against nids then they have drastically more AP2 attacks then AP3

I tended to have the Terms deal with MC with the 6+ initiative, hammers, rad gernade, and 5++ wouldn't that be better than a Strike Squad? I also know enough to kill the zoans first thing.

I'll try them but I only have 1 Strike Squad so any other ideas to fill in the point gap? I'm guessing dropping the rad grenades and picking up 2 rifledreads which will fill in the points perfectly.

The main idea with the strike will be to have warp quake for the trygon and podding zoans.
The strikes can also manage any MC quite easilly as most Tyranids MC are psykers.
So you throw your psygrenades they have I1.
You attack with all your force weapons and will likely do a pair of wounds (especially if you got a hammer).
Then he needs to take a leadership test or die and then you do one (with 3 dices if you are in the shadow) and he dies !!!!
With proper figures if you get charged by a MC on a normal squad with 2 psycanon and 1 hammer,
You do around 0.75 wounds on overwatch(with psyamo)
Then your justicar and sword bearing guys attack (7*0.5*1/6)=0.6w
Your psycanon guys do only 0.05W

Then at the same time as him (I1) your hammer does 0.41W
So you do one Wound with force weapon.
Then between your leadership test and his you have about 50% chance of ID (even with 3 dice and leadership 9)
Rifledread are great for Tyranids to manage Doom or Zoans or warriors but are not so great against MC.
A Dreadknight would also be great (last game against a MC very heavy list i had 2 DK and they just kicked asses ^^)

Thanks for the feed back!
Okay so quick recap:

Tau: are exactly the same. (I don't play Tau so any tips for them will be appreciated)

GK: losing the Terms and replacing them with Rifledread (I noticed I can field 2 because they are allies), 10man Strike Squad w/ 2 psycannons, 2 hammers and giving 2 hammers to the Purifiers. This leaves me with 100points that I have no idea what to fill with. Maybe 2 Jokaero and 3 Psykers?

or loose one hammer in strike squad and get another 5man strike squad with another psycanon

On the recheck I noticed I added up a few points wrong I have 90pts to work with. If I drop 1 hammer from the Strike Squad I have 100pts left.

I also don't have any more 3sv knights to field. What about more Tau?
