Hi Guys

New to the forums, new to CSM and very much a novice to 40k in general. Hoping to get some pointers with some CSM list's I have written. I can't decide on which god to go with (I would like to align to one specifically rather than doing an undivided army just to be a bit fluffy). Would appreciate any thoughts on which list is the best looking and any tips to make any of them better. Most of these lists are not 1500 exactly, I'll tweak them after incorporating feedback.

Will try to make them brief, seeing as I'm posting 4 in one go! Thanks a lot.

I feel my slaanesh list is the strongest atm, but not 100% sure. Would love to make the khorne list work as I love the look of Khorne stuff, but I gather CC heavy isnt so strong in this edition? Anyways, would appreciate any tips people have and I realise im somewhat taking the mick by posting 4 lists in one go.

I play Slaanesh CSM...they are beastly against most lists...but, I think Tzeenchi CSM are ultimately more powerful, then again, the majority of their daemon allies are weak now.

If you do roll with Slaanesh, and you are adamant on using them, here are my tweeks:
I run the lord on the slaaneshi beast, it adds an attack and outflank. (I run him with the mace or PS, but I like the claws)
I run the Noiseboys in three different ways:
sonic blaster squad...9 blasters and a base champion
Blast master squad...2 blast masters and 7 boys w/ a base champion in a rhino (they can fire out of it)
Assault noise squad...9+ boys in close combat/pistol combos and a champ with the Doom Siren
Dump the Warp Talons, add cultists, cultists, cultists

All the others are pretty good...I would personally dump the sorcerer in 1500 (but add them in 2000) and add the quad gun

I'm not sure, but I don't think that posting the point cost for the units is something that is allowed. I may be wrong, and if I am, that's fine. Just pointing it out.

Which ever list you do pick swap the heldrakes auto cannon for the bale flamer that is what makes the drakes so deadly

The strongest lists you've posted would probably be khorne and tzeentch.

As for which chaos god you should choose, unless you're looking for a specific play style, then the kind of army you build with that god is going to be kind of irrelevant. In other words, pick your god, and then figure out how to make it work, rather than picking your god based on which one is the easiest to win games with at the moment. It's going to be way better to try and make the god you like work out than playing easy games with the wrong god.

I'd read more fluff, look at more pictures of minis, and think about it for awhile.
