Hi!

I've recently finished what I think will be my main 1500 points army. I want to get feedback now. Any feedback is good, but I would more than anything else appreciate experienced tournamentplayers commenting.

Here it goes:

HQs

Coteaz 100
Crowe 150

Troops
5 Terminators + Psycannon + psybolt 245
10 Purifiers +psybolt +3 psycannon +2 hammer +3 halberds = 306
5 Purifiers +psybolt +2 psycannon +1 hammer +2 halberds = 169
Elites

Heavy support
Dreadknight +teleporter +HI +GS = 260
Psyfleman 135
Psyfleman 135

Total: 1500 points.

Please comment with everything from "I hatez purifiers thayre BAAAAD" to a novel!

Psybolt ammo isn't worth it on 5-man units.

Also, who is Coteaz going with?

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

Also what is the point of the terminators?
If you take crowe you pay a lot to have scoring purificators.
This becomes interesting when you have at least 30 of them.
So i would suggest to at least drop termies and maybe coteaz too for more purificators.

Yeah, if you're paying the "Crowe tax" you may as well max the Purifiers, they are nasty. I'd ditch the Termies for MOAR PURRIFIRES! Also, give them transports maybe. Foot slogging 3+ "no es bueno". A fun trick is running the purifiers up in a naked Rhino, hopping out, shooting, and then moving the Rhino flat-out to block LOS from enemy return fire. Do that every turn and watch your opponent rage against your cheap Rhino, giving you more rounds of unmolested shootery.

I do realize that the cost of the more or less useless crowe is high. In the games I've played with the list, I've always been able to do a lot with my terminators, most of the time charging up to contest objectives and such. Maybe I should ditch them for more purifiers, but then I feel that ap 3 is so incredibly strong.

Coteaz will generally stay with one of the purifersquads. Trying to keep him in the middle to get the best use out of Sanctuary and Prescience.

Well, I'd drop Corteaz and add an ADL to be manned by Crowe.

The thing is to make a competitive army you need to focus on an idea.
- if you take Crowe, then spam purifiers
- If you want to take terminators, ok but then dont take Crowe
- If you want to take Coteaz you can (not necessary) spam acolytes

You need to decide on an idea.
For instance :
- Acolyte spam (Coteaz, 6 acolyte squad in razorback/chimera + some support with DK, dreads, Storm)
- Purifier spam (Crowe,5 squads of 5 purifiers in rhino/razorbacks)
- Paladin spam (Draigo, a big paladin squad and some solo paladins)

This is my first list, so I really appreciate all tips. At my LGS it seems they like to run a lot of relicmissions, and in practice, my terminators work really well for that. I'm actually 7-0 with this list now, but I feel that I would indeed benefit from dropping Coteaz and termies for moar Purifiers.

I think my LGS-friends are way too bad though. They are way too scared of my S5 bolters. They really think my mid-range firepower is way too good with purifers. Probably them playing badly though. I already now feel that my thought-up Space Wolves army would crush my Grey Knights.

My goal is to make a fantastic Space Wolves army now that I already have something to play with. Gonna do a lot of testing before I make my list I think. But still. Thank you all for your input! Oh, and I know I should get rhinos, but I personally hate them. Gonna use Drop Pods for my space wolf army I think.
