I am a huge fan of 40k, everything the Black Library has put out, I have read. I am currently working on my Grey Knights army. I am already looking at Black Templars next. I have been browsing this site for some time, reading up on tips on painting and scenery. Figured I would sign up as well.

@kRUG001 - Favorite book would be Armageddon. I love Black Templars and the way they are portrayed there is perfect. Favorite series is Gaunt's Ghosts. Followed closely by the Heresy. Abnett and ADB are 2 great authors and I look forward to their new offerings. I pretty much sit around and refresh the Black Library website waiting for the next book.

@Knightly - Excellent Grey Knights, you have already given me a few ideas for my Termies.

I'm currently working on my GK terminator squads. Just finished up Grand Master Orias (Forgeworld GK dreadnought) and my GK Terminator chaplain (I named him Solomon). The chaplain was a pain. I think I lost a pint of blood with how many times I stabbed my self with my exacto. I even cut a chunk out of my thumb. I took the SM terminator chaplain (finecast) and cut the back off and put a GK back on him. I also cut out the shoulder pads and put in set of GK shoulder pads. I wanted to change the leg armor as well but I kept looking at my thumb and saying it really wasn't worth it. Here is a quick pic of my chap, I'm decently proud of him, wish I was a better painter but I am not patient at all. I may end up changing him down the road and adding the GK leg armor. I plan on getting the lava bases from dark art miniatures for the bases to my army. Any comments or critiques would be welcome. Thanks!

And Grand Master Orias. He has been dropped a couple times, so his power claws are chipped and so are a couple places on his chassis and his back 'feet' are gone but oh well. Also some bones of some saint were ripped off the chain but that is price you pay when facing the foes of the Emperor.
