Hi

I recently got into 40k and love the hobby. However I have found getting games difficult. Although there are clubs in Notts they seem geared towards more experienced players. The GW store is helpful but there academy seems to be aimed at kids (I'm in my late twenties).

I am looking for a patient gamer who would be up for playing a few games at warhammer world (perhaps with a beer or two ). I have about 1500-2000 points of vanilla marines and a fair portion is fully painted. I am not a complete novice and am pretty familiar with the rules. I just need more games under my belt!

Cheers!

Blimey mate your at war gaming Ground Zero for all intents and purposes I have no idea how you are struggling to find games.

That said you should go to the clubs. Most have forums and will readily welcome new players of all abilities. Just post up a game request on one and you should be golden.

Maybe try and put a post on their Facebook page?

We had a few great casual pickup games in a recent trip there. You're lucky it's so handy!

Hi guys

I run the War & Peace Games Club in Sandiacre, Nottingham. We have a couple of 40K players, and although I am more a Mantic gamer, I would love for more 40K/WFB players come along.

We meet every Wednesday night 7pm - 11pm. There's a bar and several tables - we're going to be building more soon. I'm currently running a DreadBall League and we have several special events coming up.

Lots more details over on the club website and Facebook page - links in my sig.

Feel free to PM me any questions.

Cheers

It's Club night tonight and what a packed evening of gaming we have.

DREADBALL LEAGUE

It's week 6 of our Sinclair Omega Division League and the Cargo Bay Packers have a return match against the Hellhammers. It's Forge Father on Forge Father action tonight, and following the Packers massacre last time these two teams met (Packers won but had 4 players killed), expect a lot of blood.

X-WING

A couple of gamers are bringing X-Wing and Star Trek Attack Wing tonight. Borrow the clubs X-Wing, or Tie Fighters if you want to take part.

40K

A few people have asked if they can play 40K this week. Hopefully this is the start of some dark millenium gaming here at the club. Feel free to bring your armies down and take part.

Club fee is £2 per person, but we have membership packages starting from £5 a month which give you FREE access every week plus special webstore discounts up to 15% off.

Hope to see you tonight. Details on our website.

Cheers
JP

I moved to Nottingham last year and recently took up playing 40k, I'll be happy to arrange some games with you (or any other locals viewing)!
