Hi everyone ! I'm trying to start Eldar at 1,5k after I received a small lot of Eldar during a trade. Here's what I received :

Farseer
Dire Avengers x20
Falcon (with bits to make it a Fire Prism, thought I ain't good at conversions).
Wraithlord
Asurmen.

Here's a list I will be trying to build before christmas. What do you think of it ?

Farseer : Spear
Total: 105

Dire Avengers x10
Wave Serpent : scatter laser
Total: 250

Fire Dragons x6 : Exarch, Firepike, Fast Shot

I am trying to build my list without spending to much. The first thing that come to my mind when I see my list is: I have a lot, but a lot of Dark Reapers. Is this too much ? I have a contact that can make me each of the following box set at 33 US (including the box dark reapers) : Banshee, Striking Scorpion, Fire Dragons, Harlequins and Swooping Hawks. So, should I replace one box of Dark Reapers by one of these, and if yes, which ?

Convert the falcon into another serpent.
Change weapons on the Wraithlord, something like flamer glaive BL or some sort.
too many reapers they are not that hard to kill and 400 points is just asking to be shot by AP 3
If you can get some jetbikes or warp spider instead of the 2nd wave serpent box

keep all wave serpents, but convert the falcon. serpents are better in almost every circumstance, and are cheaper. thats what i did to my falcon.
exhange on dark reaper squad for spiders or hawks, those are both fine in 6 man squads, and are better than another 5 dark reapers.

Ok here is my suggestions, I do not have the book in front of me so you'll have to do the min-max math

Fire Dragons x5 : Exarch, Firepike, Fast Shot

Falcon : BL (keep it a tank or heavy armor hunter) Holofield fire dragons inside. I use this combo alot and get decent results, sometimes it does get shot down before delivering fire dragons.

Dark Reapers x3-4 : exarch, Fast Shot, starshot missiles x3-4 (a 10 squad is way too big, it will be the focus of alot of fire, I play them in every game but rarely use more than 4 at a time) use extra points elsewhere like my suggestions below

Wraithlord : Eldar ML x2 (I never like this unit very unreliable. There are alot of AP 3 or lower weapons fielded in 1500 that will see him dead rather quickly. If you must fiel him to conserve money lose the ML's for something else. There are so many others units to consider: a 3rd troop choice like dire avenger squad with wave serpent, warp spiders, jetbikes, war walkers, crimson hunter)

the falcon isnt nearly as good as the wave serpent. no matter how you equip it, the srepnt puts out more damage than the falcon, against MEQs, Teqs, meduim vehicles, and light vehicles. it has better transport capasity, cheaper points, and is a deticated trasport. so much better than falcon... so much better.

fire dragons are good enoguh, you dont need exarch with upgrades on them, 5 meltas will kill anything well enogh, no need for the 25+ points for you to spend.
