So, I'm expanding my Daemons beyond simply Nurgle units, and I'm adding units from the other gods slowly. I plan on getting some Fiends of Slaanesh next, but I hate the current models (not to mention their price). I'm looking for some nice conversion ideas, or even non-GW alternatives. I don't want to use any Dark Eldar or Nid bitz, as I have a Deldar player for a friend, and I dislike the tyranid aesthetic.

I had thought of perhaps combining Slaaneshi bits and Tomb Kings Sepulcher stalkers, but I'm unsure if they'd be the proper scale. I also took a peek at some of the Warmahordes models, but nothing jumped out...

Also just thought of Chaos Dragon Ogres, but I think they might be ways too big.

What do you guys think? Any cool conversions you've seen or ideas you've had?

**Edit: also thought I'd add that I really dislike the look and size of the Daemonette/goblin spider hybrids that I've seen others use.

Why not combine plastic horse bodies (Wood Elf Glade Gaurd or Marauder horses maybe) with daemonette top bits to make centaurs? Not sure how they'd be scale wise to a normal Fiend model, though

I like the centaurs idea. Personally I'd plump for Dark Elf/Lizardmen Cold Ones, with a fair bit of green stuff to make them more Daemony.

Yup, your best bet is probably the Fantasy department. I'd also recommend the signature Slaaneshi purple, grey and pink scheme- just so people more readily associate them with the actual Fiends.

Ugh, I hate that dull purple grey and pink. I say go for neons and bright greens and blues, mixed with zig zags and dots and clashing colours and all sorts!

Try combining Daemonette torsos, arms and heads with the Goblin Spider Rider spiders..

Nice, never thought of that. They'd be like driders (1/2 Dark Elf, 1/2 Spider) from the D&D fantasy novels. Spiders might be somewhat small though, I have a few. They do not have a very large footprint, and sit very low to the ground. If they could somehow be raised up like a 1/2" and bulked out a little more, I think this idea would be awesome.

I've been trying to think of a way to come up with some good fiends as well. I like the idea of centaurs, but they would need some serious GS work to fit my ideals though

The stalkers are a little bit taller than the fiends and on a larger base, but could look really cool. I actually have 3 in my Tzeentch army as terminators to support my more egyptian themed thousand sons part of the force. They are a bit big for termies, but they look cool with stormbolters on their arms and I'll take cool over ability to hide behind stuff as easily just fine. Given that I tend to play my tzeentch forces the least of the 4 CSM armies I have looks as a focus aren't a big problem either.
