Out of curiosity, would it be feasible for Dakka to get a bulk uploader for the gallery section? If so but it is being purposefully left unimplemented, is there a reason for why we haven't done this that I'm unaware of (server limits and the like I'd imagine)?

It is indeed a planned bug. The image processing is done in a queue to stop the server being overwhelmed, and allowing a bulk upload would fill the queue for quite some time as the processing is rather slow. I am eager to add it at some point, likely after we move servers again as computing power increases and we get more and more cores on the CPU to allow more threading without affecting the rest of the site.

At the moment we have a good balance of convenience and server load at least.

Ok good to know. It's somewhat irritating when I try to make a battle report, but it's only a minor inconvenience at that. Thanks for the insight and with any luck we'll get those new servers soon(ish).
